Apixio’s CKX (Clinical-Knowledge Exchange) platform has been tightly integrated with Allscript’s Enterprise EHR and Sunrise Clinical Manager.
Apixio’s CKX core technology allows for indexing of all discrete data’s for patients, including coded medications, problems, and procedures, as well as unstructured data such as scanned images and progress notes from Allscript’s Enterprise EHR or Sunrise Clinical Manager systems.
By simply using the integrated “Apixio Search” bar, users of either application can search all patient data whether structured, unstructured or scanned documents using medically relevant terms or concepts. The results that are retrieved and displayed are a filtered subset of patient data relevant to the search term.
Additionally, Apixio's CKX platform has the ability to propose missing problems, procedures, and other clinical information retrieved from the unstructured data that may be missing from the coded data in the EHR.
