With the CMS extension coming to an end this July, risk adjustment teams will be expected to meet two CMS Medicare Advantage (MA) final deadlines within a matter of months – rather than a year that the industry is accustomed to. As a leader in the risk adjustment industry, we at Apixio know what it takes to ensure these teams are prepared and ready for the truncated deadlines.
In a recent podcast interview with RISE Health, Apixio’s Vice President of Operations, Breanna Krebbs, discussed; what the end of the extension deadline means, potential challenges to the return of the regular submission, and best practices to stay ahead of these compressed deadlines.
During this interview, Krebbs breaks down the proper approach Apixio recommends to its clients by season.
